About me: The son of a sergeant in the Marine Corp. and orphan from the depression, I became the first person in my family to graduate from college. My undergraduate degree was achieved from the University of Maryland in 1970 and my veterinary degree was obtained from the University of Georgia in 1974. I truly lived out my dream. I moved back to Maryland in 1977 and I worked at the first dedicated animal emergency clinic in the United States at that time located in Rockville, Maryland for 5 years. I married Dr. Dodson in 1982 and we both founded and operated Petvacx, Inc., the first mobile veterinary clinic of its kind around the country. Seven years later, Petvacx, Inc. expanded by opening its full service hospital. I participated as Board Member of the Montgomery County Humane Society for ten years. I have also worked with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources involving injured deer, as well as participating in local government bodies promoting humane handling of animals under government care. Dr. Dodson and I have two wonderful children, 5 pets and many multiple blessings.

About me: Dr. Dodson is married to Dr. Craft and both founded and have been operating Petvacx, Inc. since 1982. Dr. Dodson and Dr. Craft have two wonderful daughters (one in high school and the other in college). Dr. Dodson is the proud pet owner of 3 dogs (Holiday, Biscuit and Brownie) and 2 cats (Milo and Mittens). Dr. Dodson attended the University of Maryland for her undergraduate degree and then graduated from veterinary school at the University of Perugia in Italy after attending for 5 years. Dr. Dodson loves to speak Italian at any opportunity she gets.

About me:Grew up in Indiana Pa. Has a BS in animal Bioscience from Penn State and DVM from Ohio State University. Practiced in Chattanooga TN for 11 1/2 yrs. Joined Petvacx in Nov 2004. Is owned by a Wolfhound named "Amara" and Green Wing Macaw named "Homer".

Name: Dr. Honorota (Kuki)Hansen

Hobbies and interests: She enjoys traveling around the United States and has visited over 12 states so far! She also enjoys scuba diving and reading. She has a lot of neon tetras and 2 beta fish called Matthew and Stanley and has adopted 2 rescue dogs.
About me: Dr. Honorota is originally from Edinburgh, Scotland. She graduated from Glasgow University Veterinary School. She moved to the United States 3 years ago and lived in Massachusetts for one year.

About me: She grew up in Berkeley California and decided at age 8 that she wanted to become a veterinarian. She majored in biology at Williams College and graduated with distinction from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1998. After completing a large animal internship and medicine residency at the University of Georgia, she became board certified in Large Animal Internal Medicine in 2002. Following her residency, returned to California, where she made the transition into small animal practice in early 2006. Dr. Bently joined Petvacx in January 2008, and is enjoying living in Maryland with her husband, baby and two dogs.

Hobbies: Cooking, baking, collecting and decorating the house with furniture from the 1950’s.
About me: Teri lives in Frederick, Maryland with her husband Tom along with 4 Jack Russell Terriers, Border Collie mix dog and 2 rabbits. Teri has worked in the veterinary field since 1986 back when she first started as a receptionist. As crazy as this may sound, Teri just loves Jack Russells Terriers even though they may be considered a challenging breed. Teri just loves how intelligent and fun they are. Teri’s home is definitely never dull.

About me: Janice loves animals and is in charge of keeping the hospital and kennels clean for all dogs and cats. She enjoys walking the dogs three times daily for exercise. Janice’s passionate love is for horses, and she has won several special Olympic metals during competition. Janice’s personal pet is a new Guinea pig named cheezwiz.

About me: I own two dogs named Rommel and Nova. Rommel is a Chinese Pug and Nova is a Boston Terrier. Both of them are 6 years old. The dogs love going on walks, playing with other dogs in the neighborhood and playing with their new brother (my son Luke). I can’t believe I have been a new mom for 18 months already. About me: Jovian has been with the Petvacx, Inc. team for a year, but has been in the veterinary technician profession for over 7 years. Jovian is fluent in American Sign Language. Jovian enjoys traveling (especially to Africa) and spending time with his lovely wife and their pets (dogs: Sparky, Holly, Anubis & Tari; cats: Nala, Confusius & Leo as well as a parrot named Isis).
